Jason Schultz Drone Pilot Camera Operator

Jason Schultz

Jason's passion for flying became a reality in 1992 when he obtained his private pilot's license in Louisville, Kentucky. After flying for several years, he moved to Franklin, TN and founded Franklin Sign Co. This new venture gave Jason the opportunity to hone his skills as a graphic artist and photographer while creating beautiful signs for businesses throughout Nashville. 

In 2017, Jason was able to combine his love for flying and his passion for video and photography, and founded Professional Drone Services.

Jason is excited to be back in the sky, creating beautiful cinematography for his film, television, documentary and commercial clients to help them bring a new dimension to their projects.


SPENCER VALDEZ

Spencer's Aviation career started in 2003 with him flying at the age of 14 at his local airport in Tennessee. After getting his pilot's license at 17, he quickly attained his instrument, commercial and helicopter ratings.

He started his first business at the age of 15 by turning his hobby of remote controlled aircraft into an aerial photography venture by flying cameras on his R/C helicopters or more commonly referred to back then as Helicams.

With over 20+ years of unmanned aircraft piloting experience, Spencer has operated UAVs all over the world for cinematic projects with companies such as BBC, CBS, Discovery, Fox Sports, HBO, National Geographic, Warner Bros, Paramount Pictures, Netflix and Amazon just to name a few.

The MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America) selected Spencer to work with the FAA to help write the regulations for commercial UAV operations (Section 333 now Part 107) because of his extensive knowledge and experience as a UAV pilot. His technical contributions to the use of UAV's in the film and broadcast industry won his ventures Emmy Award for Technology and Engineering Unmanned Aircraft in 2017.

FAA Certified
Drone Pilots

Professional Drone Services is expanding and looking for drone pilots and aerial camera operators throughout United States that possess a current FAA Part 107 Certificate. Pilots will be required to learn and adapt to different requirements of our flight operations and practice safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Have a Part 107 certificate.

  • Minimum 50 hours of commercial drone flight time.

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Pass a background check.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Fly your assigned territory in a safe and acceptable manner.

  • Provide daily reporting of successful flights.

  • Upload image data to server.

  • Plan, organize and execute flight programs.

  • Represent the company in a professional manner.

  • Present a professional appearance.

  • Observe all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations.

  • Work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices of Professional Drone Services and as mandated by the FAA.
